How much memory will ‘Starfield’ require?

Although there is already an estimate of the game’s size, it is important to highlight that this is the initial storage capacity at the time of launch.

This means that the estimate released so far may increase even further with future updates. As of now, the game is expected to take up a total of 125 GB on consoles. Microsoftsize equivalent to that required for the PC version.

In the specific case of Xbox Series Sthis may imply that players will have to uninstall other games. This is because of the 512 GB of the console’s SSD, only 364 GB is available for installing games and applications, while the other 148 GB is occupied by the console’s operating system.

For the Xbox Series X and the upcoming Xbox Series S Carbon, both with 1TB of storage (with 802GB available for installation), the considerable size of “Starfield” won’t be a big problem for players, who will still be able to keep several games that take up a lot of space on the installed SSD.

“Starfield” will be a milestone in terms of storage requirements. Compared to “Fallout 4,” which takes up just over 30 GB on a hard drive or SSD, “Starfield” will require four times as much space. In other words, it’s going to be a huge deal.

Considered the largest project in the history of Bethesda Game Studios In terms of scope, the game promises an impressive intergalactic experience.

The game will feature over a thousand explorable planets, 100 of which will have been meticulously created by the development team, while the other 900 will be procedurally generated.
