A few months before the launch of the beta program, our colleagues at XDA Developers managed to implement the beta program. Preliminary build of Android 13. The update, currently codenamed Tiramisu, is expected to include many new features aimed at improving the user experience.

What changes are there in Android 13?
First of all, Android 13 provides: Every app speaks a different language. For example, Facebook may be displayed in English even if the rest of your smartphone’s interface is in French. Obviously, this option is reserved for bilingual users. It will be called “Panlingual” and will be accessible from the system language settings. Users will also be able to access this from the “Application Information” panel.
Android 13 should also mark the arrival of changes to the management of notifications. By default the operating system may evaluate them as follows: a disabled option. Just as an app won’t give you direct access to your contacts, microphone, or camera, apps won’t automatically be allowed to send you notifications. To receive notifications from an app you just installed, you need to enable the option in settings. These new rules aim to protect the user against unwanted notifications. No apps are compatible with this option yet. In fact, XDA Developers wonder if the option will ultimately wait for a future update.
Google is also working on it A new energy consumption management system. This system, called “TARE”, which stands for “The Android Resource Economy”, aims to reduce the battery consumption of smartphones. To achieve this, Google is including “Android source credits” in Android 13. Concretely, the mobile operating system will give battery usage credits to apps based on remaining battery life. The lower the autonomy, the more sparingly loans will be granted. Credits will force applications to focus on certain tasks over others.
Offers the ability to choose between future updates Two display modes for the clock on the lock screen. Android 13 offers to display the time in two lines in the middle of the screen or in a smaller line in the upper left corner of the interface. Until now, Android moved the time screen to the left corner when notifications appeared. You will now be able to choose how the time will be displayed on your phone. According to various clues, it may be possible for this aesthetic innovation, which has been requested by users for a long time, to appear with the intermediate update Android 12 L.
Will the first beta of Android 13 be released starting from February 2022?
Finally, Android 13 should mark the arrival of Bluetooth LE Audio support. Thanks to full support of this new standard, the operating system will broadcast better quality sound while reducing bandwidth.
