As usual, WABetaInfo noticed a new feature that appeared in the latest beta version of the app. In iOS version 24.1.10.76, Users will now be able to participate in surveys. This feature It was already visible in the app for simple groups, but now it’s channels that qualify.
Specifically, the poll feature allows channel owners to create polls and share them within their own channels. As a reminder, these channels are groups or areas where people or businesses can communicate with their target audiences. You can also react to recent current events in real time.

Channels will become even more useful for administrators
With this new option, channel owners can choose different options for their polls, such as allowing multiple responses or disabling certain options. Since votes are anonymous, channel members can only see the total number of votes, not who voted for what.
The poll feature will likely be welcomed by channel managers as it provides a useful way to engage the audience and collect feedback. For example, a channel owner can create a survey to ask their members about their preferences, opinions or suggestions. Channel members can then vote for their favorite options.
As is often the case, the survey function is not yet available to all users. Currently, only a limited number of channel owners have the ability to share polls on their channels. Although the feature is in beta testing phase, it is expected to be gradually expanded to more beta users. However, it may take some time for WhatsApp to make this feature available to all users.
