The decision has been made, Samsung will have to give Chinese users the ability to delete native apps if they wish, under new legal action penalty. A China Commission had launched the procedure also includes the manufacturer Oppoto protect the rights of consumers who cannot uninstall some apps from their smartphones.

To fulfill the commission’s request, the South Korean manufacturer will need to develop the following and then make them available at after-sales service points: patches to take care of making offending apps deleteable. This should be done by next month
Meanwhile, the commission is watching the producer, who does not want to end the legal process it started for the time being. It all started when you discovered Galaxy Note 3 with at least 44 pre-installed apps 24 of these were necessary for the operation of the terminal.
Normally, Samsung’s resignation to develop a patch that makes it possible to remove these apps should ease the inconvenience caused by most customers, but the Commission insists and signs it by stating:
Legal strife will continue and escalate if Samsung fails to meet the terms of its own commitments.
According to statements from Samsung China, every owner of a brand terminal, including the latest Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, will be able to uninstall pre-installed applications in a few days. If the manufacturer has already made an effort to reduce the number of bloatware that consumes internal storage, Chinese users should therefore benefit from even more space after deletion.
Unfortunately, this procedure only takes effect in Chinese territory and it seems highly unlikely that these Samsung-made patches will arrive in our region. If you don’t have a rooted smartphone, would you like to take advantage of it? Should other manufacturers and carriers be inspired by this Samsung case?
