It’s new in the end, it’s not really that new, because that’s development. Google Maps already exists in the internet version. This functionality is the possibility to take a stage journey between departure and arrival, and until now this was not possible in the mobile version, but that will change soon.
Indeed several users have reported that this is now possible and you can add directly from the app. as many steps as you want, 2, 5, 10, 50 is up to you. But as with Google, we don’t know for sure when this update will be available to everyone. For now, we will have to wait for activation on the company’s servers, so we will have to be patient.
If you still can’t wait, know that it’s a little trick to have your itinerary of several stages on your smartphone. For this you need Go to the browser version of Maps, create your route, add as many stages as you want. When the trip is over, all you have to do is copy the web address of this page and send it to yourself via e-mail or another way. You will get your route by going to this address with your mobile phone.
