Health Link or Health Connect is an application created by Google with Samsung that allows you to centralize your health and wellness data and share them securely between several apps. Available on smartphones running Android and connected watches using Wear OS.
Health Connect is currently in beta and only 11 apps benefit from it. The best known include the Fitbit, Google Fit, Samsung Health WW/WeightWatchers or Flo era calendar. But more than an app, Health Connect wants to be an API. The last major Android 13 update, called Health Connect, recently integrated into Pixels. Also, the source code posted for discussion on the Android Open Source Project Gerritt suggests that Google intends to make this programming interface an integral part of Android 14.
