Sports radio host and TV personality, Nick Wright believes LeBron James and Stephen Curry they deserve better players around them in the final stages of their careers.
Steph Curry and LeBron James undoubtedly have their own basketball eras. The two superstars have gone back and forth multiple times at the height of their power to entertain fans and keep the competition in the NBA organization. However, both Curry and James are 34 and 37 years old, respectively. It is right that they finish their careers at the top.
He believes teams around stars like Nick Wright, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and LeBron should get better. “It’s a shame that Steph Curry, one of the greatest players ever, is still in his prime and the team stinks. Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players ever, he’s at the end of his prime and the team is in terrible shape.” said Wright “What is Wright with Nick Wright?” to show.
“LeBron James is clearly not in his prime, but he’s far from any player who’s gone this deep in his career.” Added Wright. The radio host believes the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Lakers are all “lousy”.
“Look at our starting lineup. Edmond Sumner, Royce O’Neale, Joe Harris, [Nic] Claxton and me. No disrespect, but what do you expect from that group? You expect us to win because I’m there.”

Nick Wright also says James is the greatest player of all time, while Steph and KD are among the top 15 and top 20 players of all time, respectively. Wright is surprised that so many great performances by these superstars at that age were wasted because of their bad team.

Stephen Curry and LeBron James’ Season in NBA 2022-23

It’s truly amazing to see how the Golden State Warriors are performing despite coming out of a championship-winning season. While the rest of the roster continues to deliver overwhelming performances, Curry is still competing with the best in the league to be the best player ever in the regular season. Four-time NBA winners average 32.8 in the league this year.
Curry’s team, on the other hand, is 6-9 in a landslide run for someone who was considered a favorite at the start of the season. The GSW star is heading out with a 50-point loss to the Phoenix Suns yesterday. It’s safe to say that the Warriors’ run this season is a one-man show.
James is not at the peak of his power. But at 37 he is still one of the best. James’ Lakers are 3-10 this season. While King James has averaged 24.9 points this season, the Lakers still largely depend on his brilliance.
