Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen finalized their divorce after months of speculation and rumors. The former NFL power couple has been married for 13 years and they have two children together, Benjamin and Vivian.

Brady and Gisele will reportedly share joint custody of their children and will be co-parenting them. Surprisingly, their divorce went pretty smoothly for a strong reason. The ex-couple had drawn up a solid prenuptial agreement before getting married.

Prenups are underrated when it comes to marriage, but they are very useful when two people getting married are extremely wealthy and successful.

Bucs QB has a net worth of $360 million while the highest paid model in the world, Gisele’s net worth is a staggering $400 million. This divorce would have been very complicated if the couple had not entered into a prenuptial agreement.

An inside source stated, “He had a solid prenuptial agreement before he got married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their fortunes wasn’t all that complicated. The only other important factor was dividing huge property portfolios.”

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have a large real estate portfolio

Tom Brady and Gisele went through the divorce process pretty quickly, but the biggest problem the couple faced was the fragmentation of their extensive real estate portfolio.

It is believed that Tom Brady will retain the couple-owned $17 million mansion currently under construction on Indian Creek Island in Miami.

Gisele has purchased a new three-bedroom apartment in Miami to keep the family where the couple lives with their children, and the former Victoria’s Secret Model to use as an office.

The ex-couple also shared a huge real estate portfolio, which included several properties in various locations including the Bahamas and Montana, and an apartment in New York City.

There were also sources suggesting that the division of the real estate portfolio was done in perfect harmony and nothing was contested by Tom Brady or Gisele.

Tom Brady and Gisele are currently officially singles and the Bucs QB will focus on the season as the Bucs get off to their worst start yet and prepare to face the Rams in their next game.
