When HC Steve Wilks was asked about his decision to remove Anderson, he quickly defended it, saying that no one was bigger than the team. “No one is bigger than the team” said Steve Wilks. “I’m not going to focus too much attention on one individual.”
Robbie Anderson isn’t giving a defensive performance on the field either. Since signing his new 2-year contract extension, Anderson’s game has measurably worsened. Anderson had only collected 500 yards all last season and was also openly critical of new signing QB Baker Mayfield.
