When is Overwatch 1 shutting down?

The shutdown of Overwatch 1 is upon us as today is the last day you can play before the game’s servers go offline to make room for Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 will prepare the final steps to get everything in place for its launch – remember, Overwatch 2 will replace Overwatch 1 when the server is back online. , here’s what you need to know about the end of Overwatch 1 and the transition to Overwatch 2.

After Overwatch 1 goes offline, the servers will be down for about 27 hours (assuming everything goes according to plan) and back online.
