“It’s hard to play to 45,” Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes makes a BIG statement about emulating Tom Brady’s career life

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s stamina and ability to still play professional football at the highest level is something to be admired and respected. The man is 45 years old and still ranks among the top players.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the top players in the NFL right now and a player to watch out for. Already a Superbowl winner, the age gap between Mahomes and Brady is 18 and it will be interesting to see if it matches the senior quarterback’s record.

Patrick Mahomes believes Tom Brady’s longevity has enabled him to achieve great things in the NFL

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes When asked if he felt Mahomes could play as long as Tom Brady, Mahomes said he wanted to play as long as possible and be able to help the team. Mahomes said it’s a tough feat to achieve, but once you play at the highest level, you don’t want to let it go.

“I I want to play as much as I can and still have a chance to help the team get better,said Mahomes. “Honestly, it’s hard to play until I’m 45 and I don’t want to be stuck there. You see what Tom is – he’s still playing at a very high level. I think that’s why it’s kind of hard for him to give up – playing at a high level you don’t want to quit.”

Patrick Mahomes also appreciated that what Tom Brady was able to achieve at this age was ‘special’. He added that Tom Brady has not had a single off season throughout his career and is looking for ways to get better.

“I It means it’s special to see what he’s done in this league.” said Mahomes. “The way he changed the position, the longevity of great success – so that’s the crazy part – you look at his career and it’s never really been a bad year. He’s always been great and had a great season and found ways to get even better. He’s done things off the court that doesn’t impress him, but he’s still built on his legacy, so it’s always a great opportunity for me and our team to go up against a great point guard and really [measure] Where is our team?”
