After being abandoned for a short time by the development teams of WhatsApp, the dark mode has recently gained a remarkable appearance. Android app beta 2.19.289WABetaInfo reports on October 11, 2019. Please note that this dark theme is not yet available for all users, even if you have joined the beta program.

Unlike other apps that have gone to the dark side in the past few months, WhatsApp is only a dark gray and blue interface. To maximize your chances of turning WhatsApp to the dark side, we recommend enabling Android 10’s system-wide dark mode (if you have a compatible smartphone). As a reminder, this isn’t the first time dark mode has appeared in the app’s beta. Therefore, it is still unknown when the option will be implemented in the final version of WhatsApp.
