“I’ve never had a problem with my coach before” – when Paul Pogba’s relationship with Jose Mourinho was ruined by a trip to Miami

Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho’s relationship got bitter:

“It all started when I got hurt.” “I told Miami I was going to therapy,” the 29-year-old says in the new Amazon Prime Video documentary series Pogmentary.

“My previous clubs were always trying to make the therapy happen in the club itself.” Rangnick added. “As far as I can tell, the medical department is excellent, there are several ways to rehabilitate. I don’t want the players to go to rehab abroad or elsewhere, but Paul’s choice was made before I came.”

At the time, the interim manager also stated that he would not try to persuade Pogba to stay at the club, even though his contract was only six months away.

There was no one at Old Trafford who could persuade the player to change his mind as he left for the second time at the end of the season. Now it looks like he will be returning to Turin to once again sign for Juventus; but don’t expect him to return to United a third time…
