Valorant 4.11 Patch Notes: Clutch Mute feature, Agent bug fix and more

Riot Games is bringing a new 4.11 patch note to Valorant. In this update, the development team is only focusing on fixing bugs of their tool and they are also bringing a new feature to the game called Clutch Mute.

The new feature will give you the power to silence your teammate or party member at the moment of the clutch and you will focus on winning the round on behalf of the team. The Valorant dev team also fixed Yoru’s Dimensional Drift exploit, which allowed the agent to wield weapons before completing the ability’s use.

MISTAKES

AGENTS

  • Fixed a bug that caused Skye to sometimes pose in third person while holding a gun, which was undesirable
  • Fixed a bug where Jett could achieve much faster than intended speeds using Tailwind in certain locations (aka. “superdash”)
  • Fixed a bug that caused Yoru to be able to wield weapons sooner than intended when exiting Dimensional Drift (…again)
    • Some of your creative types continue to find new ways to trigger variants of this error since the last few patches. Fixing these loopholes aims to improve the systems used by all abilities in the game. Therefore (in addition to the bad experience of being hit by the invisible Yoru), we are closely monitoring the consequences of these changes.
  • Fixed a bug where Yoru’s mask would flicker when running forward during Dimensional Drift
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused you to see the location of enemy Astra stars
  • Fixed a bug that caused you to be unable to re-stabilize KAY/O after being resurrected by Sage.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the following abilities to sometimes disappear from the minimap:
    • Viper’s Toxic Screen and Venom Cloud
    • Killjoy’s Nanoswarm
    • Cypher’s Cyber Cage
  • Fixed a bug that caused the purchase menu to sometimes show invalid items after changing Agents while in range or in a custom game
  • Fixed a bug where Chamber’s model would still teleport if killed in the middle of teleporting
  • Fixed a bug where Skye’s Seekers and Fade’s Prowler and paths would not go down the channel in Breeze
  • Fixed Sova’s dexterous voice line sounding when she kills an enemy with 1 or 2 bounces of Shock Arrows.
    • These voicing lines were never intended to play when destroying an enemy trap. This provided information that Sova and her team could not easily access by other means. We’ve added this back, but restricted it to play only when Sova kills an enemy player with a bouncing Shock Arrow.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Killjoy’s Alarmbot and Chamber’s Trademark to create large white circles on Brimstone’s Sky Smoke targeting map
  • Fixed a bug where the room’s Appointment range indicator would not disappear when far enough away to exit the minimap
  • Fixed an issue where our spawn point scoring system in Deathmatch was not updating correctly.
    • You should now consistently spawn further away from where you died and experience less “revenge” killing.
    • We are aware that the spawn system could be better and will continue to make changes that improve the experience.
