Tony Ferguson is clearly not in a good place in his fighting career, given that he’s come out of a four-game winning streak. his loss Michael Chandler UFC 274 didn’t make things any better for the former interim champion. The lightweight superstar recently fired a beef with the UFC color commentator and analyst, Daniel Cormier.
In the final episode of his show on ESPN MMA, Cormier DC&RC Responded to and addressed Ferguson’s disagreement. One of the biggest problems I have with Tony Ferguson and that is my relationship with Khabib. DC said it on the ESPN MMA show. Tony and Khabib have a very complicated history, as the two fighters were never able to test each other in the octagon for how many times their fights were cancelled.
DC reveals that Tony’s biggest problem with him is his relationship with Dagestan. In the Check-in with DC show dating back to UFC 274, Tony can be seen threatening to drop the interview when Cormier asks him about his past with Khabib.

Daniel Cormier says Tony should worry about his rivals.
Ferguson takes a devastating knockout blow against Chandler at UFC 274. The former champion was knocked out with a brutal high kick that gave Chandler a second-round victory. Since recovering from the knockout, Tony has been going on a press tour to address his issue with the entire commentary team, and Cormier in particular.
“Brother, what did you worry about me before?” asks Cormier on the show. “Michael Chandler kicked him in the face, bro. There are three names DC, RC and sometimes MC. Worry about the MC. I’m retired. He has these issues with Khabib and it’s coming on me because of these issues that I don’t understand.” said Daniel.
According to Cormier, the 38-year-old lightweight should take a break and get over his troubles with retired lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Do you agree with Cormier?
