Tampa Bay Buccaneers reporter Rick Stroud recently appeared on television. The Rich Eisen Show He was asked what he thought of Tom Brady and Bruce Arians. Stroud said he certainly didn’t think Tom Brady was forcing Bruce Arians to resign.
But Rick Stroud added that knowing Tom Brady and the tactics he wanted to employ, he would find it more comfortable under new coach Todd Bowles than Bruce Arians.
“I I will tell you what I know. this idea it [Tom Brady] and the Bruce Arians were mad at each other, I don’t think that’s true. I don’t think Bruce ordered Code Red to talk about Arians!“, said.
“It would have been a bit sociopathic to come to the execution of the man when he stood up and gave the stick to Todd Bowles. Now, as Brady ponders whether to play or not, could he suggest knowing that it should be the Tampa Bay Pirates, that I should do this, this and this, and maybe that’s what the Arians would want to do? I think it would be a much better feeling or comfort for Tom Brady around a guy like Todd Bowles, and I wrote about it.”
