The 2022 NFL draft is approaching us and will begin from April 28 to April 30. The event will take place in Las Vegas and all fans are focused on what talent their team can pick.
Currently, the Jacksonville Jaguars will get the first pick, followed by the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New York Jets and New York Giants. The question that remains, therefore, is which players are in focus and could be the first pick in the 2022 NFL draft.
1. Aidan Hutchinson
Aidan Hutchinson was undoubtedly one of the most impressive players of the past year. The Michigan Wolverines’ defensive side has won numerous awards, including the Ted Hendricks Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy, Lott IMPACT Trophy, Lombardi Award, and Nagurski–Woodson Defensive Player of the Year. Backed by many to be the #1 choice.
2. Yuri Travon Walker
Travon Walker is another player with the potential to be the #1 pick for the Georgia Bulldogs. A teenager currently studying Sports Management plays as a defender for the Bulldogs. He stands at 6′ 5” amd and weighs approximately 275 lbs. He slowly entered the battle against Aidan Hutchinson.
3. Trevor Penning
Next on our list is forward Trevor Penning’s offensive tackle. Northern Iowa Panthers. He was featured in First Team ALL-MVFC in 2021. He started in all 15 games for his university when he was a sophomore. Currently one of the highest rated offensive teams and a player to watch out for.
4. christian watson
Wide receivers were already predicted to be in high demand in this NFL draft. That’s why we need a buyer on our list and we’ve included Christian Watson from the State of North Dakota. He holds a career-high 800 yards on 43 catches and a staggering 20.5 yards per catch during his college career.
5. Malik Willis
Our list would be incomplete without the quarterback involved. Malik Willis, who plays for Liberty Flames, is one of the hottest properties right now. He was with the Auburn Tigers before heading to Liberty in 2019. He was the 2020 Cure Bowl MVP, 2021 LendingTree Bowl MVP, and 2020 Dudley Award.
