He also played for the Auburn Tigers football team before transferring to Liberty in 2019. Standing 1 foot tall and weighing around 102 kg, Willis attended Westlake High School in Atlanta.
However, he later transferred to Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia for his senior year. As a senior, he has recorded impressive numbers that show everyone why he’s rated so highly. The talented quarterback passed for 2,562 yards and rushed for 1,033 yards.

Many top experts rate it very highly. Recently, on an episode of “Get Up,” Matt Miller praised Malik and compared him to Jalen Hurts. Most recently, the Steelers invited Malik to visit the team’s facility on the last day when teams are actually allowed to communicate with expectations prior to the 2022 NFL Draft.
As reported by Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Willis was invited to visit the Steelers’ facility on Wednesday. The much-anticipated draft in Las Vegas is only a few days away, and it looks like the Steelers will try to lure the young player onto their side.
About a month ago, the Steelers team watched Willis intently during his professional days. In fact, as reported by CBS SportsOn the eve of Malik’s professional day, young football player and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin chatted over dinner. Apparently, Tomlin hooked up with Willis after a Senior Bowl practice in February.
Other young candidates including Kenny Pickett, Matt Corral, Desmond Ridder, Sam Howell, Carson Strong and Chris Oladokun also visited the Steelers prior to the draft. It will be interesting to see what the Pittsburgh-based franchise finally decides on the draft.
