WhatsApp still has work to do
First off, as you’ve definitely noticed, we’re not yet at a point where we can totally do without our “main” smartphone to connect to a new device. This is for obvious security reasons, but the feature loses some credit because of it. Additionally, WhatsApp only clarifies that: 4 devices can be synced to the same account. Note that if a device has not been used for 14 days, it will be automatically disconnected.
But there are bigger problems as well. especially iPhone users delete their conversations from a new device, for a reason WhatsApp has yet to disclose. Even more frustrating, the feature isn’t for tablets. You’ll have to make do with the good old way to connect to them. Finally, it will be necessary to make sure that the application is updated to the latest version. unable to call.
So the functionality is clearly not complete yet, but WhatsApp ensures that users do not have to worry about the security of their data. To keep the conversations end-to-end encrypted, the app needed to adapt its operation. Now on all devices their own identities, then connects to the account via servers. Note that the action may change the security code. Therefore, it is normal for you to receive a message from the service in the next few days.
