Traded Drew Lock, 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks, one fifth-round pick, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris to be sent to Seattle in exchange for Wilson. The news comes after Aaron Rodgers signed his record-breaking deal to stay in Green Bay.
While that may seem like what got the Broncos chasing Russell Wilson, it has been reported that they’ve been in talks with the Seahawks in the past weeks and the Rodgers deal had no effect on this trade.
The Broncos will welcome future Hall of Fame quarterbacks as they made a similar move to bring in Peyton Manning for the 2012 season. Of course, this happened in free agency, and it’s a trade-off.
