It is not uncommon for an Android phone to get stuck on the splash screen. The problem usually occurs when applying a new update or installing an app from an unknown source. Although your troubleshooting options may seem very limited, it is still possible to get past the boot screen.
If you have faced similar issue, you can follow the methods below and fix the Android phone booting issue. Lets start.
1. Forced Restart
The first thing you need to do when your Android device is stuck on the splash screen is Force Restart or reboot. This requires holding certain combination buttons on your phone.
To perform a force restart, press and hold the Power button on your phone for 30 seconds and release it when the device turns off. Leave it there for a minute or two. Now turn it back on to see if it boots normally.
2. Remove Battery
If your phone’s power button is unresponsive and your phone has a removable battery, you can try removing the battery to turn your phone off. Wait 10 seconds after removing the battery. After that, insert the battery and turn on your device.
3. Charge Your Device
If your phone is not getting past the splash screen, it could be because of a low battery. So you can try plugging your phone into a power outlet and force restart as mentioned above to see if that fixes the problem.

4. Try Safe Mode
Safe Mode on Android is a great tool for performing basic troubleshooting and figuring out what’s causing your phone to malfunction. You can also use this mod to fix Android phone stuck on booting issue as well. Let’s see how.
Stage 1: Turn off your device by pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds or pulling out the battery. Wait for your device to shut down completely.
Step 2: Now hold down the Power button and wait for the logo to appear. When the logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down button; your phone should boot in Safe Mode.

If your phone boots normally in Safe Mode then you can be sure that the problem is caused by some third party apps on your phone. You can try to uninstall some recently installed apps or games and restart your phone to exit Safe Mode.
5. Wipe Cache Data
Android phones tend to collect all kinds of cache data as we continue to use them every day. And while this data is intended to help devices run faster, it can sometimes get corrupted. So, if uninstalling the apps doesn’t help, you can try clearing the cache data on your phone.
Relax, deleting cached data is completely safe as it does not result in any data loss. Here’s how to do it.
Stage 1: Turn off your device by holding down the power button or pulling out the battery. Wait for your device to shut down completely.
Step 2: Now, simultaneously press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button until the device boots up.

note: The correct key combination to enter recovery mode will differ according to the make and brand of Android phone. So, if the above key combination doesn’t work for you, visit the manufacturer’s website for the exact key combination.
Stage 3: Once in recovery mode, use volume buttons to navigate to Wipe Cache Partition option. Now use the Power button to clear the cache.
Once cleaned, restart your phone and see if the issue is now resolved.
6. Factory Reset
Performing a factory reset may be your last option if all the above methods fail. Doing so will delete everything on your phone including apps, accounts, contacts, photos, data and more.
Now there are several ways you can follow to reset your Android. One is in Safe Mode and the other is in Recovery Mode on Android. Let’s see how they work.
Reset Android with Safe Mode
Enter Safe Mode with the steps outlined in point 4. From here, here’s how to delete cached data on your phone.
Stage 1: Open the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down and go to System. Expand Advanced and go to Reset options.

Step 2: Next, click on Erase all data (factory reset) and then the Erase all data button to begin resetting the phone.

Wait for the reset process to complete. This may take some time so it is recommended to keep your phone charged or connected to a power outlet during the reset.
Reset Android with Recovery Mode
Stage 1: Turn off your phone and enter Recovery Mode by pressing Power button and Volume Down button at the same time.
Step 2: Inside recovery mode, use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu, highlight Wipe data/factory reset. Now use the Power button to start the factory reset.

Wait for the process to complete and your device will reboot. It will be as new as when you first bought it.
Don’t Get Stuck Anymore
Troubleshooting options are very limited as you won’t be able to access the phone as usual when it gets stuck on booting. That said, the above solutions should fix the problem in most cases. If not then we suggest that you go to an authorized service center and have your phone checked by a professional.
