NetEaseThe major Chinese internet and video game company has previously announced its upcoming five-on-five mobile tactical shooter, Project M, now called Hyperfront. The game received a huge amount of influence from Riot Games’ VALORANT. The game is eerily similar to Riot’s 5v5 tactical shooter, and even its first name confirms the same.
A game whose name is probably a nod to Valorant’s original Project A description is a tactical 5v5 shooter with hero abilities. Valorant was called Project A in the early days of beta. A similar-looking and playable mobile game has recently sparked many controversial comparisons between these two games.
Valorant, a popular FPS game, has gained popularity among the gaming community and has taken the PC gaming world by storm in recent days. A free-to-play first-person shooter developed and released by Riot Games, it has become one of the most popular games. The game received a lot of positive feedback from the PC gaming community.
Riot Games has been working on the mobile version of this game for a while. Numerous leaks and rumors have surfaced about the Valorant Mobile release date, but the publishers have yet to confirm it. Meanwhile, in order to compete with them in the tactical FPS market, NetEase released the clone of the game before Riot Games in the mobile game industry.

While the game as a whole is a complete Valorant misnomer, from a spike planting to a 5v5 tactical shooter with agent abilities, the characters and maps are spot on as well. The maps in the game look exactly like Haven and Reyna’s leer in Valorant, Kj’s ultimate, Sova’s drone, Omen’s smoke.
NetEase is a competitor of Riot Games’ parent company, Tencent. Everything from the game’s visual style to the UI design, fonts, sounds, and even the animated futuristic music clearly looks like something designed to emulate Valorant. However, RIOT Games has yet to sue an infringement issue on the same.
