Snapseed is a great image editor that can work wonders with images you plan to use on social media or anywhere online. Many apps like Instagram and Snapchat have basic image editing tools built in, but Snapseed takes this a number of steps further. But can you make yourself look slimmer on Snapseed?
This question was asked for use the other day and I must admit I didn’t know. So I decided to learn. Fair warning though, you’ll never look at a selfie the same way again after reading this once!
The short answer is that Snapseed doesn’t have a special tool to make you look slimmer in images. The curation tool can be of some help, but it is very finicky to use as it needs to be precise. It would be much better than using a specific app for this purpose. Fortunately, there are several apps that do this.
Look slimmer on Snapseed
Snapseed may not have a specific tool for changing ratios, but other apps do. You can edit your rates in one of these apps and then open them in Snapseed to continue editing. It’s not the most elegant way to work, but it gets the job done.
It’s simple to make yourself look slimmer because everything is done on your phone. Use one of the apps below, change the proportions to your liking, save and open in Snapseed.
Here are some apps you can use to make yourself look slimmer:
Spring Effects
Spring Effects is probably the most popular app that changes your odds. It’s available for both iPhone and Android, but the recent update to the Android version seems to have broken it a bit. Install the app, open an image and use the slimming option to make yourself look slimmer, the bow option to look taller, or the face option to change your face proportions.
Body Aesthetics
Body Plastic Surgery is an Android application that allows you to change all kinds of proportions. You can increase or decrease your height, weight, change your face, skin tone, clothes and all kinds of things. The app has a free editor that you can use to change each element of the image to make you look better or worse depending on your skills!
Face & Body Photo Editor Lite
Face & Body Photo Editor Lite is an iOS app that does the same thing. It’s a transition app for fun rather than making your prom photos look better, but it does that too. As part of their tool there is a slimming option where you can increase or decrease your body width. It takes some tweaking to stay within reasonable proportions rather than being funny, but once you get used to it, downsizing is a breeze.
Body Editor
Body Editor is another highly rated app for Snapseed that can make you look slimmer. It has various features like slimming, height, body hair control, tattoos, six pack add-ons, face contouring and all kinds of things. The app requires fine control to get the most out of it, but it’s very easy to use and in ten minutes or so, you’ll have your thinnest look ever.
Retouch Me: Body & Face Editor
Retouch Me: Body & Face Editor is an iOS app that also makes you look slimmer. Along with other tools like breast augmentation, waist and weight reduction, leg extension, tanning, lip augmentation, tattoo removal and more, this is a complete transforming app that can result in you looking completely different from your true self.
All these apps will help you look slimmer. The process would be to download one of these apps or a similar app and open your image in it. Save it as a copy so you can keep the original just in case. Make yourself look slimmer and do what you need within the app. Save and then open in Snapseed. Make any edits you want and save again or use directly from within the app. Simple, a little too simple, but there you go.
Body editing and Snapseed
I warned you from the beginning that after reading this, you would never look at a selfie the same way again. I definitely don’t! Each of these apps can transform your selfie in ways that I didn’t know were possible from an app. We all know that supermodels and magazine covers are usually Photoshopped until they can’t be Photoshopped, but I didn’t think selfies could do it either.
Now I know different and I will never take a face value selfie again!
