For those who don’t know, Delonte West has a long history. He has battled drug and substance abuse multiple times. Because of this, he often found himself locked up in prison or in police custody. In a place where hopes from the West were heightened when he was seen playing basketball again, his recent arrest has brought fans back to the same page.

Delonte West is being torn by fans as he takes a wrong turn again.

Delonte has never been an average player, and his tenure with four different teams in the league justifies it. He played for the Boston Celtics, Seattle Supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks. That’s why fans can’t fathom what the source is behind West being repeatedly dragged to the wrong side of the law.

Mark Cuban was one of the people in Delonte West’s life who did everything possible to rid him of any addiction and put the latter on track. But the old Cavalier is back in his old days, full of booze, beggars, and drugs. I hope Delonte West will return in time and make everything better for himself and his loved ones as soon as possible.
