You Can’t Buy iPhone 7 Plus In Store On Friday

There is no way to go to the Apple Store on Friday and buy an iPhone 7 Plus. We already knew that the Jet Black iPhone 7 would be difficult to find, but Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 7 Plus is selling out on release day if you haven’t pre-ordered it for in-store pickup.

Online iPhone 7 Plus ships in 2-3 weeks from Apple in some colors and is available in Jet Black by November. Best Buy does not take online pre-orders for the iPhone 7 Plus for delivery or in-store pickup.

We’re hearing from retail sources that the iPhone 7 Plus in any color will be out of stock or unavailable on Friday.

No stock of iPhone 7 Plus release date for incoming customers.

Apple warns users who plan to queue for the iPhone 7 Plus on day one: “During the online pre-order period, initial quantities of the iPhone 7 Plus on all surfaces and the all-black iPhone 7 are sold out and will not be available to customers.”

Apple will only sell the iPhone 7 in black, silver, rose gold, and gold colors to customers arriving for the first time on the iPhone 7 release date. If you don’t want any of these options, don’t bother queuing at an Apple Store.

You can try queuing for an iPhone 7 Plus at Best Buy, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile – but it doesn’t look good in those places.

If you plan to queue up, you will want to be one of the first to queue. Most stores won’t tell you if they have the iPhone 7 Plus behind them, so it’s not worth looking for them today.

Buyers can still pre-order an iPhone 7 Plus online from their carrier and the Apple Store for delivery in October or later. If you pre-order online and find one in stock before then, you can usually cancel your online order and buy one in-store with minimal hassle.
