iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max pre-orders begin Friday at 12:01 PM Pacific Time. That means those of you living in the United States will have to stay up late if you want to order one of the company’s new iPhone models. Those of you living outside the US will need to get up early.
Staying vigilant to pre-order doesn’t guarantee you’ll get an iPhone Xs or iPhone Xs Max for release date delivery. That said, it’s the only way to avoid queues and in-store pickup on the iPhone X’s global launch date of September 21. Stock in retail stores is often patchy and can run out quickly on the day of release.
If you want your iPhone Xs or iPhone Xs Max to be on or just after launch day, you’ll want to be ready to hit the road long before the clock strikes midnight on Friday. We haven’t heard of any major shipping delays or production issues, but we can see shipping times have been delayed to October due to demand. This is especially true for the new iPhone Xs Max.
