Tutorial: how to disable autocorrect on your virtual keyboard

The virtual keyboards of our smartphones are not only extremely intelligent, but also highly intuitive. They correct all our mistakes and can even guess the words we want to enter before we even have time to write the second letter. Unfortunately, sometimes the forecasting system falls completely off the mark. However, it is quite possible turn off autocorrect. Is it enough to know how to do it?

Please note that this tutorial is designed for: google default android keyboard Natively available on Nexus devices and in the Play Store. Depending on the coatings of the manufacturers, the options presented are not the same.

1. Go to the menu to get started Settings > Language & Input from your smartphone or tablet

2. Select the Google keyboard and enter the settings

3. Select “Text correction” and then “Autocorrect”

4. By default, the option is set to “Simple”. All you have to do is tick the “Disable” option.

As you can see, this is once again a simple as pie trick, but the option is unfortunately hidden deep within your phone’s settings.
