Yes, your new Samsung phone can open two apps at the same time, and the best part is, you can run your business the same way you do on standalone screens.

If you have the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the deal gets even sweeter. With its large screen, it’s easy to keep your work in split-screen mode.

So, if you want to multitask using split-screen mode on Galaxy S20 models, here’s how you can do it. We also have a few additional tricks and tips. So don’t forget to read till the end.

Let’s go, shall we?

1. Run Apps in Split Screen

On Galaxy S20 devices, it’s pretty easy to switch two apps to split screen in One UI 2.0. Unlike Android 8 Oreo, you don’t have to drag windows to a specific location on your phone’s screen to enable Split screen.

Instead, you just have to make sure that both apps are active. When you’re done, tap and hold the Recents button to enter the Overview Selection menu.

Stage 1: Swipe left to find the app you want. Once done, tap on the App icon as shown in the screenshot below.

However, for this process to work, you need to enable the Applications module of the Edge Panel.

Stage 1: Pull out the Edge Panel and tap the Settings cog in the left corner. Tap the little Tick icon above the Apps panel to activate it.
