Manage Website Notifications in Safari on macOS

Besides keeping the noise at bay and helping you concentrate on your task, it can also play a good role in improving your MacBook’s battery. Customize How Safari Notifications Appear
Depending on your preference, you can fine-tune how Safari notifications appear on your Mac. For example, you can choose between banners and alerts style. While banners appear in the upper right corner of the screen and disappear automatically, the alerts remain on the screen until you turn them off.
You also have the option to hide notifications on the lock screen, make them appear all the time, or let them appear only when the computer is unlocked. You can also sort alerts by latest, by app by most recent, and manually by app.
