How to Change Font on Galaxy Note 8
As you can see, Samsung offers you five different styles to choose from. Choose what you want, then hit Apply to save your changes. The options are Default, Gothic Bold, Choco cookie, Cool Jazz, Rosemary or . You can also change the font size with the slider in the same menu. This is useful if you download a very large font.
Note that Samsung no longer allows the use of font files from 3rd party sources. You could add anything in the past, but now you’re limited to what’s available in the Galaxy store.
How to Download Fonts on Galaxy Note 8
If you don’t like the five fonts provided, feel free to download it from the hundreds of fonts created by the developers.
Once you hit the download button, you will be redirected to the Galaxy App Store. Here you can choose from a wide variety of fonts. Some are free, while others cost between $0.99 and $1.79 depending on the style.
Everything is pretty straight forward from here. Find a new font style you like and click the button. First you have to download the font, then press to add it to your Galaxy Note 8. Now, this new font will take over your phone and be added to the original five list we detailed above. Additionally, if you download too many, there is an option to remove them. This will remove that font from your list.
Repeat the above steps and take as much or as little as you want. Find something cheerful for the holidays, bold for easier reading, or find something else you’re interested in. If at any time you want to revert to the default font, simply follow the instructions above. Select “Default” from the font list and apply the original font.
