We witnessed Zoom take the world by storm in 2020. Millions of people turn to Zoom because of its easy-to-use interface and package features. You’ll be surprised to learn that many job interviews, seminars, music concerts, even a few casual conversations with friends and family are held on Zoom, and more. However, keeping up with Zoom meetings is often a hassle. In this post, we’ll help you organize and track your upcoming Zoom meetings using Google Calendar.
Google offers users a Workplace Marketplace app to enhance the entire ecosystem experience. You can download and use related apps to integrate third-party apps and services into your workflow. Don’t worry, you can also use several Workplace apps with your regular Google account.
One of the less intuitive aspects of Zoom is the meeting scheduler, which can be a little difficult to get used to. Fortunately for Google Workspace users, Zoom has a Google Calendar integration that makes it super easy to add a Zoom search to a Google Calendar event.
In this post, we’ll walk you through the complete guide to adding and managing Zoom meetings via Google Calendar. Lets start.
A few notes before adding the Zoom plugin to Google Calendar.
- You cannot install the add-on if you are signed in to more than one Google account. Just sign in to the Google account where you want to install the add-on.
- When using the add-on, make sure that you are not signed in to more than one Google account with the add-on installed. This will cause problems when scheduling Zoom meetings using the plugin.
For clarity, I used my Gmail ID (non-Google Workspace account) to add the Zoom plugin.
