Look for Fortnite Shrines scattered around the island as you may need to reach them for certain challenges. There are three temples to loot on the island – the Temple, the Ruins, and the Tumbledown Temple – all of which are similar Fortnite icons that appear to be remnants of an ancient civilization. For one of the Fortnite week 3 missions in Season 3, you must reach maximum shield capacity at one of these ancient locations, so it’s handy to know where they are before engaging in combat. Make sure you’re not at max shield before you reach a temple, as that doesn’t count. Stock up on shield items and pull them out when you reach one of the three temples to complete the challenge. Fortnite The Temple, The Ruins, and Tumbledown Temple locations
The Fortnite The Temple, The Ruins, and Tumbledown Temple locations are all located in the jungle biome, but they’re pretty scattered and far apart. There are other unrelated temple icons in that area as well, so make sure you go to one of the right places. We’ve marked all three on the map above, and you’ll find more details about each below.
Fortnite Shrine location
Fortnite The Temple is the easiest of the three must-sees, thanks to its bright orange color and Aztec-style designs. You’ll find it just northeast of the Daily Bugle crater.
Fortnite Ruins location
Fortnite The Ruins is the smallest of the three locations, located east of The Daily Bugle, on the corner of the coastal bay leading to the Monument of Mighty and various other landmarks associated with the Seven.
Fortnite Tumbledown Shrine location
Finally, the Fortnite Temple of Tumbledown can be explored in a tree-lined area near the border between the jungle and desert biomes, directly east of Rocky Reels or west of The Joneses.
