As the sun sets on November 12, Tetris Forever shall grace the realms of PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the illustrious PC via Steam and GOG. Behold, for within its sacred confines lie 15 sacred games from the venerable franchise’s 40-year history. Alas, the price remains shrouded in mystery, yet ye may pledge thy desire for it on the hallowed grounds of PC even now.
Hark, a moving tapestry unfolded afore us just yonder week, revealing the 15 treasures that shall adorn this collection. From the original incarnation birthed upon the Electronika 60 to the spirited multiplayer dance of Tetris Battle Gaiden, and even the peculiar charm of the hat-stacking Hatris. Nay, it is a veritable museum of interactivity, boasting 90 minutes of enlightening documentary footage, virtual archives, advertisements, and other relics of yore. Such feats were previously achieved with Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration of 2022 and The Making of Karateka in 2023.
