The world of electronic games is full of eagerly awaited releases, and “Marvel’s Avengers” was at the top of the list for many. However, what started out as an exciting promise quickly turned into a disappointment for many gamers and Avengers fans.
Now, this failure has reached a critical point, with the game being completely removed from the internet. In 2020, “Marvel’s Avengers” was released at the height of the Avengers’ success following the film “Avengers: Endgame”.
Despite the efforts of Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, which included skins, DLC and additional characters, the game failed to win over the public.
‘Marvel’s Avengers’ is removed from the web just 3 years after release

“Marvel’s Avengers” was a game released in September 2020 by Square Enix and developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montreal. The game brought the iconic Marvel superheroes to the world of video games with lots of action and adventure.
The game’s plot revolved around the Avengers, who were under pressure after a catastrophic incident in San Francisco during the “A-Day” celebration. This event resulted in the destruction of the city and the apparent death of Captain America. As a result, the Avengers disbanded and were found guilty of the tragedy.
Players could control various superheroes, including the Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Kamala Khan (Miss Marvel), each with their unique abilities. The game offered a single-player campaign that explored the central story and a variety of side quests and challenges.
In addition to the solo campaign, “Marvel’s Avengers” also had an online cooperative mode, in which players could team up with friends to face threats and carry out missions together. Players could customize their characters, unlock costumes and equipment to improve their skills and appearance.
However, “Marvel’s Avengers” performed so poorly that it was removed from online stores such as the PlayStation Store and the Steam, on the last day 1/10. Now, it is only possible to find it in physical copies and at local retailers.
