After completing your initial research at Gotham University, you will be asked to return to Belfry to check your case files and purchase your first Talent. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to exit the Belfry and go on the first night patrol in Gotham City. Complete the patrol and return to the Bell Tower where you will see the Batman Family now dressed in civilian clothes. Keep in mind that as you progress through the campaign, your player level will carry over to all characters and this determines your overall strength and the difficulty of the enemies you will encounter, but each character has their own abilities that must be unlocked by spending Skills.
