GTA Online Slashers is back again, ready to scare the residents of Los Santos and Blaine County when they go out for the night. If you’re wandering around after dark, you better make up your mind, because you never know who will lurk on the next road and wait to follow you relentlessly. In addition to the four original freaks, this year’s GTA Online Halloween event also introduces the Clone Slasher – an incredibly sinister exact replica that comes with bloody hands and moves like you.

The four main creatures are based on different horror movie antagonists, so if you have a particular fear of Pennywise the Clown or Jason Voorhees, you may want to stay away from GTA Online next week. While finding these NPCs is a bit of a random encounter and meeting one of them or your personal clone is based on luck, you need to be in the right place at the right time for them to appear. With that in mind, here is all the information you need about GTA Online Slashers locations for your best chance at the Halloween match.
Where is GTA Online Slashers?
There are four different GTA Online Slashers in total – Clown, Rider, Pervert, and Slasher – and each of them can spawn in the areas marked on the map above, with a random probability of being replaced by Clone Slasher. in its place. However, for any of them to appear, you must meet all the requirements to set the scene correctly, these are:
- You must be in Free Roam mode, not inside a building.
- You must be in the session for at least 16 minutes, i.e. 8 in-game hours.
- You may be on foot or in a standard vehicle, but you may be in an armed vehicle, helicopter, etc.
- In-game time must be between 9pm and 5am.
- You must be in one of the spawn areas marked on the map above.
Once you’ve reached the required in-game time, start traveling (ideally driving) around the spawn area for any of the GTA Online Slashers you’re looking for, and listen to an ominous needle sound accompanied by your minimap and a flash. A red dot appears on it. This will show you where your enemy is, and although they will initially stand still, they will begin to follow you when you approach them – unless the Clone Slasher spawns instead, in which case they will only move when you move to attach. an even bigger spook factor, but they’ll still attack once they’re in range.
When you join one of the GTA Online Slashers, you will need to prepare yourself for a decent fight, as they not only have a large amount of health, but are also ruthless in their pursuit once their target is set. These monsters are real bullet sponges, and setting them on fire won’t do much to slow them down – it took us four direct RPG hits to finally stop Psycho when confronted. When defeated, GTA Online Slashers usually drop a melee weapon, and Rockstar didn’t mention any rewards this time around, although players did receive the rare Twilight Knife T-shirt for eliminating one of these threats last year.
