A new achievement present in the GOG version of the game suggests the arrival of a difficulty mode that would be officially called “Honour Mode”.

Enthusiasts of Larian Studios are already familiar with the term “Honour Mode” thanks to its presence in Divinity: Original Sin 2.
In this mode, the enemies become considerably more formidable, the penalties become more severe, and one of the most notable changes is the absence of the possibility to save the game and try again after a defeat.

If “Baldur’s Gate 3” follows in its predecessor’s footsteps, Honor Mode could impose limitations on players, restricting them to a single save point.
Furthermore, the game file would be automatically deleted if the player’s group was defeated, which would mean that it would be necessary to restart the adventure from the beginning.
Since its release in August this year, “Baldur’s Gate 3” has received numerous improvements and updates from Larian Studios.
Players have already been able to enjoy new features, including the ability to customize the appearance of main characters and recruited NPCs, quality of life improvements, and a number of bug fixes.
