The Genshin Impact Ancient Azure Stars quest takes place in the Mona Domain and ends with the Seize Destiny puzzle. This Domain is the fourth and final time-limited character Domain during the Summertime Odyssey event. As expected, it’s full of astrology-themed puzzles. Ancient Azure Stars part one
The first thing you need to do after entering the Mona Domain is to pick up the three Asterism Shards located next to the Mirage. Next, go to the mechanism with the arrow at the top and place the Asterism Shards above or below the mechanism to recreate the zodiac sign in the sealed door (see photo). This will open the door to the first Astral Puzzle.
To solve the Astral Puzzle you need to recreate the image in the sky. If you hit a blue sphere, it will connect to another sphere, thus drawing a line. In short, the spheres in the triangle should face each other, and the three outer spheres should face inward. After that, take the Asterism Shard from the Precious Chest and then follow the Strange Star. When it gets lost in Mirage, jump after it. When you find yourself in the area with all the moving floors and walls, keep following the Strange Star to find the exit. Don’t worry, you won’t be crushed.
Finally, during the Starry Sky Challenge, keep avoiding the stars as much as you can for one minute. As long as you don’t get hit 30 times, you will have completed the challenge.
Ancient Azure Stars part two
Look for Hilichurl digging in the yellow area to get back to the Mona Domain. Interact with the pickaxe and open the portal to obtain the Asterism Shard. This time you are not shown the correct Mirage mechanism. The right one is in the northeast corner. Use the pieces in the picture to complete the Mirage.
It’s time for the next Astral Puzzle! First interact with the star on the wall. Then get the outer spheres towards each other (clockwise) and the inner spheres to form a line. Remember, if you need more details, check out our separate Astral Puzzle guide!
Then, reopen the Yummy Chest for a new Starstar Fragment, and then follow the Strange Star through the Mirage. As the Strange Star rises, keep moving forward until a Hydro ladder appears. It will direct you to the exit.
Ancient Azure Stars part three
To unlock the Mona Domain for the third stage, go to the yellow quest area and interact with the ground (a single Hilichurl guards it again). This will open the portal and give you another Asterism Shard.
Go to the Mirage mechanism in the northwest corner. Place the Asterism Shards as shown in the picture and then solve the third Astral Puzzle. This time, the zodiac pattern is shown in the next room (the sealed one) instead of the roof.
As before, open the exquisite Chest and follow the Strange Star to the Mirage to get another Star Star Shard. This time you have to open the fourth door first as it won’t dive.
Ancient Azure Stars opening the fourth gate
Find the missing Star Star Fragment to open the fourth door in the Ancient Azure Stars quest. You have to be quite understanding to notice this right away, but it is exactly the same shape as the lower Part placed in the Mirage mechanism in the northeast corner (zodiac in the middle of the picture).
Take this Asterism Shard and place it at the top of the Mirage mechanism to open the fourth door. Behind it is another Astral Puzzle. You need to reconstruct the zodiac sign as displayed on the roof. He looks like a shooting star. First create a triangular shape and then use the remaining five spheres to point inward at the top of the triangle.
Ancient Azure Stars Seize Fate puzzle
When this is done, the Strange Stars will open a portal under the Mirage. Follow the path and the Strange Star when it appears. To be careful; when swimming behind a wall, you have to stand in front of that wall to open it. Shortly after that, Strange Star will float over a huge cliff. Just keep following it (the path is not visible).
Finally, you need to catch the moving Star to solve the Seize Destiny puzzle. It’s hard to spot at first, but take a close look at the stars around you and you’ll only notice one floating around. All you have to do is cross its path and catch it.
