Fortnite Escape Room missions are optional missions with unique rewards for players to sign up for, but there’s no actual room involved – it’s just a framing device for the Fortnitemares-themed challenges that follow. Below we’ll explain in more detail the escape room missions in Fortnite, how you can sign up for them, and the rewards you’ll receive when you complete each one.
Fortnite Escape Rooms and how to unlock them
Fortnite Escape Rooms are part of the current Fortnite Fortnitemares event, which adds a host of Halloween-themed content to the game for a limited time. Specifically, Escape Rooms are a series of challenges where you have to individually register online using the following process:
- go to Fortnite Escape Rooms Sign up page from the attached link.
- Sign in using the same information as your Fortnite account.
- This will link Escape Room challenges to your account.
- The website (not Fortnite itself) will showcase the quests and challenges required to unlock a room.
- Completion of these quests in Fortnite games will be revealed by progress on the website.
- Completing a room unlocks the next room and provides an in-game cosmetic reward.
- There are four rooms in total. Unlocking all four will grant the player all Escape Room rewards.
The trick is this Monitoring progress on these tasks should be done through the website. – You’ll have to periodically log in, see how you’re doing, and claim your rewards if you’ve completed the room you’re working on, otherwise there’s no way you can just play Fortnite alone.
The missions themselves seem pretty simple, at least from what we’ve seen so far – catch fish, kill enemies, finish some games in the top 10. There’s nothing like fighting Fortnite The Herald, the basic game missions that can only be worked in matches are pretty seamless.
Fortnite Escape Room Rewards
Fortnite Escape Room rewards aren’t terribly exciting, but if they particularly appeal to you or you’re in the quest completion area, they may be worth pursuing.
- Room 1 Reward: “Spoooooky” in-game cosmetic Emote
- 2nd Chamber Reward: 20,000 XP
- Room 3 Award: “OctoEye” in-game cosmetic Spray
- Room 4 Reward: “Niterave” in-game cosmetic Skin
It’s important to remember that this is a limited-time event and will end on November 1 when Fortnitemares ends. Players will have to beat the clock to unlock all four rewards!
