Blizzard is now fully part of the Microsoft family and, in fact, its games were honored at the Xbox Showcase. Two games are planned by the Irvine studio this year. The conference was an opportunity for Microsoft to reveal the release date.
Blizzard’s other big release in 2024 is Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion pack for Diablo 4. This time we will encounter Mephisto and for this we will have to travel to the forests of Nahantu. There is no gameplay footage, but there is a cutscene to set the mood. Be warned, this really isn’t for everyone. Regardless, we now know that Diablo 4 Vessel of Hate It will take place on October 8. This will give WoW players time to enjoy The War Within before returning to try Diablo 4.
Microsoft did its best for its conference. In addition to Blizzard games, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the prequel to Gears of War, was also announced. Avowed, Fable, DOOM The Dark Ages and Age of Mythology were also at the party.
