Unless an official reason has been given by the publisher, the purpose of this date change is Let there be air in front of Starfield, Bethesda’s beast will be held on September 6.
Baldur’s Gate 3 and Starfield are long (for example, Larian promises over 170 hours of cutscenes for BG 3), it takes a lot of time. Once it’s released on one of these, it’s hard to find time to play anything else. Problem : both titles target the same audience, ie role-playing fans. Seeing them dating at the same time therefore meant making a choice. And to choose is to give up.
With this delay, players have all of August to quietly get Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC. note down The PS5 version of the game is still scheduled for release on September 6. We cannot have everything.
As a reminder, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a tactical role-playing game that follows the rules of Dungeons and Dragons. Inherits the license created by Bioware in 1998.
