Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admitted that not signing this player was “one of the biggest mistakes of my life”.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted to the world one of the biggest mistakes of his life in not signing South Korean star Son Heung-min. He said it was. “It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life after underestimating the Dortmund side for Leverkusen in 2013. He was one of the best strikers in the world.”

He talked about his time at Borussia Dortmund and when Son played for Hamburg in 2013, and was signed by Bayer Leverkusen that year. Jurgen Klopp has always loved him despite playing for one of his opponents in the league, and it wouldn’t be a shock if we see Son wearing that famous Red jersey in the future.

Talking about this event, Son said: I wanted to stay in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen and Dortmund wanted me. Both teams play in the Champions League but I thought Dortmund would use the rotation more than Leverkusen. That’s why I chose Leverkusen over Dortmund. At my age, it’s really important to play regularly.”

Heung Min Son shares a memory with Jurgen Klopp after the match.

Son left the pitch with an eye injury in Tottenham’s last game against Marseille in the Champions League group stage, and fans are worried if the star will be able to recover from a broken face. His son said on Twitter: “Hi everyone, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the messages of support I received last week. I have read many of them and I really appreciate all of you.”

Added, “I drew so much strength from you in a difficult time. Playing for your country in the World Cup is the dream of many kids growing up just like mine. I won’t miss this for the world. I can’t wait to represent our beautiful country, see you soon. Sonny.”
