Call of Duty Vanguard File Size, bootloader and more explained

The Call of Duty Vanguard File Size was announced before the start of the preload phase. Players can now have the latest game in the COD series until midnight today.

Call of Duty Vanguard is ready to hit shelves on November 5, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. However, players may have a chance to download the game before the official launch. and some of them already had. The game is already live for North American and South American PS5 players. The rest will be able to download the game soon, and here are the Call of Duty Vanguard details.

The Call of Duty: Vanguard preload for PS4 and PS5 players in North and South America will begin at 9 PM PT on October 28. PlayStation players in the rest of the world will have access to midnight local time (which is technically 29 October) the same night. Preload for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S players would also launch at 9pm PT / 12am ET / 5am GMT on Thursday. Meanwhile, PC gamers will be able to preload the game at an unspecified time on Tuesday, November 2.

Activision made a statement blog article Even if you have purchased a digital version of Vanguard, you will need to manually start the download during the pre-installation timeframe. Fortunately, the game won’t be out until November 5th, so users will have plenty of time to get started or endure the incredibly slow download speeds.

Call of Duty: Vanguard takes up nearly half as much space on PlayStation as it does on Xbox, but that’s still roughly equivalent to the 190GB slob that is Black Ops: Cold War. Activision recently said that Vanguard’s file size was much smaller than previous Call of Duty entries at launch, and they’re not kidding, but the titanic 190GB isn’t a hard standard to meet. Surprisingly, Vanguard’s Xbox footprint is also slightly less than on early Microsoft store listings.
