Since 2020, Marvel Comics has been taking some different actions, such as allowing the public to choose who will be the next member of the X-Men. That’s what you read.
Although it is not news, it is likely that many people are still unaware of this fact. However, we hope that this will change soon, as a new vote has been opened and the alternatives have been revealed to the public.
According to information shared by Marvel Comics, voting will be open until February 3, that is, until this Friday.
Changes began to be made from the moment our group of heroes moved to the island of Krakoa. Since then, several members have left and joined. It is believed that it will be possible to see the character who will be chosen to join the group before 2023 comes to an end.
Furthermore, there are those who expect the winner to be revealed during the Hellfire Gala, which is also called the “Hellfire Club Gala”, where the previous announcement took place.
And the rumors ended up being confirmed thanks to the announcement by Casa das Ideias, which announced the new edition of the event just in time to achieve the new editorial phase of the X-Men.
How do I get to vote?
In order for you to contribute to this choice, you will have to go to the official Marvel Comics website (www.marvel.com/characters/x-men-vote) and choose, among the candidates, which one you would prefer to join the X-Men group in the next issue.
Among the options, you will find the following names:
- Missile (Sam Guthrie);
- Jubilee (Jubilation Lee);
- Crystal (Alison Blaire);
- Fanatic (Cain Marko);
- Frenzy (Joanna Cargill);
- Prodigy (David Alleyne).

Who are the candidates?
If you don’t know them yet, it’s worth mentioning that Jubilee, Crystal and Frenzy have already taken on the role of members of the X-Men. Cannonball is the leader of the New Mutants and appeared in the Young Avengers group.
Finally, Juggernaut was one of the villains who was most addressed in the X-Men comics. However, it seems that, within this new phase of his life, he is trying to redeem himself for his evil acts.
So, which one do you choose?
