Afghanisatn nearly won their match against Pakistan in the Super 4 stage on Wednesday, September 7th. After Pakistan’s one-goal win, the scenes around the Sharjah stadium caused intense joy among Pakistani fans and sadness among Afghan fans.

However, some Afghan fans were seen throwing chairs at Pakistani fans, causing mayhem in the stadium and even getting into fistfights outside the stadium.

Not only the fans, but even the two cricketers on either side were almost to a physical point of contention, with the referees and other players not stopping the two of them. Asif Ali was the kicker sacked by Fareed Ahmed in the 19th and some bad mouths saw Ali nearly punch Fareed, even raised his batting stick to threaten him.

These two broke up, but even though they were in the stands, things were already out of control. Adding more to the case, Naseem Shah crushed two sixes in a row Fazalhaq Farooqi To take Pakistan to the final. And angry fans couldn’t stop themselves after that.

In several videos circulating online, some of the Afghan fans were seen ripping chairs out and aimlessly throwing them or throwing them towards Pakistani fans.

The outrageous scene was condemned by many, including ex-Pakistani pacemaker Shoaib Akhtar.

“This is what Afghan fans do. This is what they have done many times in the past. It is a game and must be played and received in the right spirit. @ShafiqStanikzai, both your audience and players need to learn a few things if you want to grow in the sport,” Akhtar wrote on his Twitter account.
