“People say there’s pressure in IPL, I say don’t play” – Kapil Dev’s words spark discussion; says he can’t understand ‘American words’ like pressure or depression

Speaking as a guest on the ‘Champions of Aakash 2022’ training program, Kapil Dev compared the game days to those of today’s players.

“I had a passion for playing. That was the difference. I would change the subject a bit. I hear a lot on TV these days. People say ‘there is pressure, we play IPL, there is a lot of pressure’. I say only one thing, ‘don’t play’. What is this pressure? If you are passionate, there should be no pressure.” he said in the program.
