Men’s and women’s Ashes program announced in 2023

On Wednesday 21 September, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the men’s and women’s Ashes programme, which will take place in the summer of 2023. Edgbaston in Birmingham will host the opening of the Men’s Ashes Test from 16 June. Ashes of Women will be held at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on 22 June.

“We are absolutely delighted to host two Ashes series in 2023, as well as Irish men, New Zealand men and Sri Lankan women,” said Clare Connor, ECB interim CEO.

“Next summer is going to be huge for UK women and UK men. “There are few events in British sport more special than the Ashes series, and I know Heather, Ben and their teams will be excited and driven by the challenge to reclaim the Ashes,” he added.
