Arshdeep Singh will not be able to escape his enraged Twitterati as he is considered to be the main reason behind India’s five-wickets loss against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, Sept.
Mohammad Rizwan’s fiery hits helped Pakistan quickly move towards the goal while chasing. But his little door completely turned the table. Six fours and two sixes left after 71 hits with 51 balls.
But more than his beat, Mohammed Nawaz‘s coming out to strike was a surprise factor for the Indian fielders. While Rohit Sharma’s men awaited the next Pakistani kick, number 8 batsman Nawaz came out and fired some quick shots.
The stormy 42-shot shot had only 20 six-ball fours and two sixes and had an impressive 210 hit rate. His gate put the India team at ease and so they thought.
After both Rizwan and Nawaz’s door, Khushdil Shah came out and started shooting. Asif Ali did not leave behind, scoring 14 points from 11 balls and 16 points from two fours and six eight balls.
But it was before the hunt that Arshdeep Singh fell. In 18th place Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep made an easy catch that caused everyone’s hearts to beat with a lot of raging passion, not forgetting how the match between India and Pakistan was seen as a big deal by the entire cricket community.
Arshdeep’s recent bowling however managed to restrain Pakistan to some extent, but when two balls were needed for two runs, the Men in Green finished it off and won the match by five wickets. While most of the Twitter verses troll Arshdeep, some also appeared to defend the young actor.
