“We don’t come here thinking it will be a piece of cake for us” – Rohit Sharma in an ‘advanced’ Bangladesh team

Team India captain Rohit Sharma He said the Bangladesh ODI and Test series would not be a piece of cake for Men in Blue. On the eve of the 1st ODI to be played in Dhaka on Sunday, December 4th, Rohit said his team will expect lots of competition from its neighbors led by Litton Das.

“It will be an exciting series as it is every time we come to Bangladesh. They have been a very tough team and we have to play well to beat them.Rohit said at the pre-match press conference on Dec. He also acknowledged that the Bangladesh team has been a tough team in the last seven to eight years.

He mentioned the T20 World Cup 2022, where Bangladesh gave a tough competition to India and Bangladesh would have won if the rain had not interrupted the match. “It was a cutthroat match at the T20 World Cup and we lost the series here in 2015. In no way do we think it will be a piece of cake for us because we know they’ve gotten a lot more advanced over the last few years.Rohit added it.

Rohit Sharma explains why time-outs are given to top players

At the pre-match press conference, Rohit Sharma emphasized the necessity of player workload management. As so many cricketers play all format cricket, Rohit agreed that cricket is only going to be played that way but it is the people in the game who need to do the right things.

“And people need to understand that when we take a break from players, it’s just to manage the workload with the big picture in mind.” said. He emphasized the importance of the freshness that the break brought to the players. While on the busy schedule, Rohit replied rather rudely, saying:“It’s impossible in this era to play with your top 15 all the time.”
