As a result, he called for transformation to begin at the grassroots level. He has once again advocated making sports compulsory in schools and believes that candidates should be allowed to practice the sport of their choice.
“This will also enable experts to identify talents at an early stage. At the end of the day, we want to build a more fit and healthy India that can perform well in everything,” he said.
